The staff at Brattleboro Subaru nearly cost me my life. I arrived with a car whose air bag had been recalled, and I left with a check engine light that left me stranded on a dangerous stretch of highway with a smoking engine. This was minutes after the staff had assured me the car was perfectly safe to drive. Do not go here, it is not safe.

The team at Brattleboro went above and beyond for me. So much so, that I came all the way from Long Island - New York to purchase the car, easily a 12 hour trip. Billy was a true professional and Pete made signing out my new WRX a synch. I experienced complete transparency from both of them throughout the whole buying process. No sales gimmicks, and no pushy or shady finance tricks at closing. The car was clean, gassed, and ready for me to hit the road as soon as I arrived. I wish I lived closer so I could take advantage of their service department! The waiting room is nice and quiet, it has wifi and coffee...what more do you need? I bought a used car for $8500 in august that had studded snow tires on it. The sales dude said he would put new tires on the car and give me the studded snows. That's great, except after 2 weeks when I went to pick it up the new tires were on wrong and 2 of the studded snows were missing. Sales guy said he would get me some new ones, but it was my responsibility to get them studded. That wasn't the deal and why should I do extra work, it's the reason I went to a dealer in the first place. Also they said they would get me the best interest rate, because they can get better ones than I can. Well after signing the paperwork from their business manager with a bank I never heard of, I went to my bank the next day and got my interest rate almost cut in half, from 4.3% to 2.4%. Again more work on my part. I was also told the car would go into their service department to get some last minute issues taken care of, like a new air filter and a few other things. When I got the car home and inspected the vehicle I had to remove the mouse nest from the air filter housing, thanks a lot service guys. So all in all the absolute worst experience I've ever had buying a vehicle and will be happy to explain to everyone I know or don't know why I will never do business with this subpar organization again.
Fantastic buying experience. We live 1 1/2 hrs away and had a family emergency at our scheduled time of pick up. Brattleboro Subaru did everything possible to make things go quickly and smoothly so we could tend to more important matters.
