This place is nestled in the nicest place imaginable, yet the employees aren't too jealous when one "takes up too much space."

I'm not able to eat dairy, eggs, wheat, or oats. Hannaford's is the only local grocery store that offers a variety of options for me. Trust me it can be extremely frustrating looking thru label after label. Hannaford's has a whole isle dedicated to my foods along with space in other isles. It's the only store I go to.
The staff are so helpful and polite. I do feel sorry for them when I ask a question such as "why is the produce so wet, the sprinklers come on frequently and my produce rots quickly at home?" Their answer is usually that this is controlled or ordered from some remote office that has nothing to do with each store. Many customers also complain about this. We all use paper towels to dry produce such as parsley, dill, all lettuces, fresh spinach etc. I have gotten a rotten chicken salad in a container. Why does produce have to look wet to be fresh. Very poor customer satisfaction.
