Horrible decision to close Putney Rd branch. I'm seriously considering changing banks, and I've been with this bank since it was First Vermont. 20 yrs? Makes me sad actually. The Main St bank is cold and impersonal and the lines too long. I like a friendly face taking my money, not someone who glares at me.
This is the best bank in Brattleboro. The employees are knowledgeable, accurate and patient with all of my requests. Without them, I would not have been able to sort through issues related to financial decisions. The branch on Putney Road needed to be closed.
I switched to a local bank! They supported the Dakota pipeline
generally the lines are really short. the penny arcade is free for all, but it's not accurate (steals your coins)
